ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Primary role will be functioning as a runner, delivering permits, construction materials, metal, etc. to job sites as directed by the project managers and/or field managers. Interact with office staff, subcontractors, and clients Problem-solve Prioritization and time management Able to lift to 100 pounds Good knowledge of construction materials Daily Tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Pulling permits at city offices and delivering to job sites Pick up materials from suppliers for delivery to job sites Pick up materials from jobs sites for return to suppliers Take pictures as needed for inspections Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 1+ years’ experience in construction. Basic understanding of home and/or commercial building. Attention to detail; organizational skills; time management skills required. Good communication and customer service skills. Must work well both independently and as a team. Self-starter with proven ability to exceed goals. Willingness to learn additional skills required. PREFERRED SKILLS Some computer knowledge/experience preferred. ADDITIONAL NOTES Clean driving record and pass a background check before being hired.
