Since C-19 prepping no longer has the "far right wing" connotation associated with it, or crazy whack job thanks to the Discovery Channel. To me, prepping was just growing up in south Westport. With the burgeoning interest in preparedness locally, I've decided to hold the 1st ever "Bristol County Preppers" meet up.
August 29th at 2:30 PM at the Veteran's Memorial Bicentennial Park. Bring a lawn chair and we'll be meeting under the covered sitting area out of the sun, if it's occupied, there are plenty of trees to sit under. Duke's bakery is in the mill building to the north and D&D in the plaza across the street if you want something to sip and munch on during. Since it's the first, there is no agenda other than to find out what people want to know/do more of and get to know more like minded people. From this we hopefully can have more structured events down the road.
