Job Responsibilities As a Laundry Associate, your job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, sorting laundry by color and/or fabric type, performing stain treatments, and operating laundry machines to wash and dry items. Additional duties include loading and unloading laundry and folding or hanging clean items. You need to follow special washing instructions for delicate garments and fabric type, and multi-task several customers’ orders simultaneously. You must also clean and maintain laundry machines, which entails wiping down surfaces and emptying the lint traps in dryers. You must maintain a clean and organized work environment. Physical Requirements • Must be able to frequently lift to 30 pounds • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. • Must be able to move from various work situations and throughout the plant quickly and easily. Shift Availability / Work Schedule • Monday through Friday, sometimes Saturday’s. Minimum 4 days per week. • Flexible start time (8am to 10am). Minimum 6-hour shift. Maximum 7-hour shift, if desired. • Ability to work some holidays. Salary: $13.00 - 15.00 hr. Weekly Pay. Job Type: Entry Level - Employee / Contract Language Proficiency: English (required). Bilingual – English & Spanish (preferred). This job requires a minimum of 30+ hours per week and the days working are mainly Monday to Friday during the day (morning to late afternoon) so if you are NOT AVAILABLE for these days AND hours, please do not apply.
