If someone is "rehoming" a "Maine Coon" cat with no documentation, then it's not a Maine Coon. Don't pay $500 - $1,000 for a generic Domestic Short/Medium/Long Hair cat. If someone is offering a Maine Coon, demand paperwork proving lineage and provenance. Any scammer can go grab some kittens from underneath a dumpster and say they're Maine Coons or Ragdolls. You'd be better off adopting one from a shelter than enabling these scammers.
