A long-established New Orleans landscape architect and licensed horticulturist is seeking to hire additional talent to our growing team. We pride ourselves in being knowledgeable & professional horticulturists servicing our residential clients. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train and mentor the right candidate! Work week is Mon-Fri, 7:15-:415. Must be punctual and have daily transportation to uptown New Orleans. A valid driver’s license and social security number is required. This is a non-smoking environment. Individual needs to be self-motivated as well as a team player to work with a 2-3 man crew and exhibit efficient time management. Duties include:- Hedging & pruning plants from small topiary to large hedges & small trees Plant Installations-annuals, trees, shrubs, sod Drainage Installation Weeding & mulching the garden Lawn mowing & weed eating Also must have ability to carry 50 lbs,move up & down ladders, and safely handle clippers, pruners, blowers and landscape equipment.
