US Event Management is looking to hire an incredibly motivated, dedicated, and reliable Training Specialist in our Vancouver, WA office. US Event Management is a full service Experiential Marketing and Event Staffing Agency. Since 1999, US Event Management has partnered with clients on a national level executing in-store demos, large format trade shows, golf events, trade shows, festivals and more. The Training Specialist position is an entry level marketing position for the hungry opportunist with a CAN DO attitude. Opportunity within the company is available along with competitive pay rates. The Training Specialist will be responsible for training all staff members booked on our events, ensuring the proper usage of our brand training tools and maintain a high standard of execution. This position will support and complete delegated tasks from the Regional Manager. The ideal candidate will be a very organized, hardworking, dedicated, self-starter that can work in a fast paced environment. This entry level position is a great opportunity for anyone looking to grow within a family oriented business. Full-Time: 40 hours per week. In office Wednesday - Sunday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Job Duties Train all confirmed staff members on procedures and brand attributes Oversee preparation and delivery of kits and training materials for all Events Manage kit shipping deadlines and event details, and be the central point of contact between promo staff and booking Agents. Ask talent while on training calls about upcoming events in their area to get them booked out in advance Assist with booking any last minute cancellations or last minute shifts Be available for staff if any promotional issues arise Schedule and manage all staff event supplies pick-ups and or client pick ups/drops offs Enforce company policy and procedures in a timely manner, contacting the HR department for guidance Qualifications •Marketing/promotional experience preferred •Strong interpersonal skills, relationship building skills, and leadership ability. •Ability to multi task and complete multiple projects in a fast paced environment. •Quality computer skills including Word, Excel & Power point •Good driving record •Strong problem solving skills •Ability to prioritize job duties •High School diploma required •College degree preferred, but not required If interested, please respond to this ad with your resumer and a brief paragraph as to why you'd best fit the position.
