The construction laborer performs general tasks involving physical labor for residential and commercial projects. This position requires operation of various hand & Power tools. Candidate must be reliable, hard-working, and flexible with a variety of day to day tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Mowing and trimming of lawns.
- Apply Waterproofing and Air Barrier to Commercial Buildings.
- Pressure Washing
- Caulking
- Demolition
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior Mowing and Construction experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Not afraid of heights.
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and customers.
Ability to work extended hours as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position may require the ability to lift 50lbs, bending, stooping, standing and walking. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
· This is a full- time position. This position may require some overtime and weekend work.
TRAVEL
· Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be required on occasion.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
· Must possess a valid driver’s license.
· Ability to obtain clearances REQUIRED for Prevailing Wage Projects
