Job description POSITION: Part-timeGroundskeeper DEPARTMENT: Rental SUPERVISOR: Property Manager JOB SUMMARY: Maintain appearance and curb appeal of the property to attract prospective residents. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This opening is for a porter, not landscaping. You will keep the grounds clean and organized, no mowing or trimming involved. · Pick up trash around the grounds using a pick stick, dustpan, and broom this includes around dumpsters. · Clean breezeways with a big-pack blower and change bags at Mutt Mitt station when full. · Remove snow from sidewalks as needed. · Deliver notices as requested. · Other duties as needed and as requested. EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIRED: · High school education/GED. · Valid driver’s license. · Ability to read and understand written instructions on work orders. · Ability to operate lawnmowers, blowers, and chainsaw. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THIS POSITION: · Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects. · Have ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions. · Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions (extreme heat and cold). PROPER ATTIRE: Shirts provided. Must wear or use non-scuff and non-slip safety shoes, leather gloves, safety goggles, dust mask, ear plugs, and other safety equipment as required for job-site safety. WORK HOURS: 8:00am - 12:00pm or 9:00am - 1:00pm Job Type: Part-time MUST PASS BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREEN
