Howdy, y'all! Haven't had much luck finding people to jam with since I moved down here, figured I'd throw a line out on the internet and see what I can catch. I'm open to anything, from just casual jamming with a few drinks on the weekends to a full fledged band if anyone has any good ideas. My instrument of choice is guitar, but I also have lots of experience with the bass guitar and keyboards and an insatiable thirst for knowledge about anything else that makes funky sounds. Oh, and I spent my high school years singing with the choir, and also spent a few years in a crappy teenage band that tried to sound like Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd caught up in a messy blender if that counts for anything. My other musical interests include- -The Doors -Howlin' Wolf -The Beatles -Miles Davis (his 60s-70s electric period fuels me daily) -Jimi Hendrix -Parliament-Funkadelic -King Crimson and so on and so forth, lots of classic rock, prog, blues, and jazz keep themselves cemented in my playlist but I always try to keep an ear out for anything that grooves.
