We are looking to hire A Lead Installer for our Crew. Responsibilities Working in our positive team environment, you will be an integral member of a crew installing solar arrays at residential customers’ homes. You will help ensure accurate and timely solar installations, update Operations on projects, and utilize best installation and safety practices. This position focuses primarily on the ELECTRICAL connections of a solar system, and will at-times be required to assist with the roofing aspect. Including but not limited to mounting inverters, disconnects, connecting into Main Service Panels, bending conduit, pulling wire and terminating connections. Panel upgrade experience a plus. Desired Qualities: - Knowledge and experience in NEC codes for solar installations. - Solar electrical experience a PLUS - Must know how to wire AC/DC solar systems, bend/run conduit. Stub-ups, connections in main service panel, J-box, proper grounding and electrical safety knowledge. - Panel upgrade experience a plus. - Comfortable working on roofs of all heights and different slopes/pitches. - Must be able to carry at least 50 pounds, and comfortable going up and down a ladder several times per day. - Must be a quick learner, hard worker and driven. Great work ethic is rewarded. - Must have own tools. - Must have valid drivers license and be 18+ - Must Have reliable means of transportation to travel to different project sites. · Ability to follow instructions, lead a team, and complete projects from start to finish · Passion for success · Experience working outdoors under various weather conditions · Ability to transport materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks (up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds with assistance) Professional appearance and strong customer relation skills Orange County Solar offers excellent career advantages that include performance bonus potential, 401k, full Health benefits a fun, collaborative culture and much more.
