Fabricators and Finishers (Auto Body experience a plus!) $17-$22 DOE Location: Lake Elsinore, CA Schedule: 7am to 3.30pm (Must be flexible for OT), Long Term JOB OVERVIEW: Fabrication and finishing work, surface prep, sanding, buffing, applying primer, bondo and spraying or painting various surfaces for a custom fabrication company. JOB DUTIES: Hand sanding, using sanding blocks or orbital sanders to prepare surfaces for priming and painting. Apply and work with putty, fiberglass, panels and components to prepare for assembly. Use masking tape, prepare and protect surfaces with paper, drop cloths and plastic etc. Use a variety of solvents to clean surfaces, tools and equipment. Break wax, spray epoxies, apply primers, paint and assist with gel-coats. Grind or buff fiberglass, plastics or other materials, apply varied paint finishes and top coats. JOB REQUIREMENTS: 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in autobody industry. Able to read a tape measure, and cut materials accurately using hand and/or power tools. Able to work from drawings, sketches or schematics. Overtime and flexibility as needed to meet production schedules and departmental needs.
