Who we are. BuyK is the newest express delivery service for groceries, cosmetics, and household goods. Through our App customers can simply select their items, click a button, and enjoy 15 minute delivery straight to their door. Buyk takes care of your shopping routine you can focus on what is truly important to you. Whether this is time spent enjoying your hobbies, working on a new project, spending time with family and loved ones, or just kicking back and enjoying some well-deserved time to relax. How do we do it? BuyK fulfills orders directly from our own strategically located stores, and small warehouses where our goods are stored, our staff of Inventory Clerks then collects the items requested in each order, packs the items up, and sends them on their way with our own BuyK couriers straight to your door! Our Mission. Our mission is to give our customers back the one thing they often lose the most of. Their time. We feel that time is truly valuable and shouldn't be spent waiting in line to check out, or spending hours a week running back and forth between different stores to purchase their groceries, household supplies, or cosmetics. It should be spent doing the things they truly love, with the people they care about most. What Are We Looking For? Our Bicycle Couriers will be the face of Buyk Corporation. Our couriers can thrive in a fast-paced environment, customer service centric, strong communication skills, and friendly. What You’ll Do? Delivery of goods (groceries, cosmetics and other household goods) from our strategically located dark stores (small warehouses) to our customers. Work to ensure that items are delivered with 15-20 minutes of the order Help with picking and packing, sorting goods and keeping track of inventory Who We Are Looking For? People who want to represent Buyk to our customers Readiness for physical activity and eagerness to work and learn Ability to get around NYC quickly and safely Flexible and adaptable What we expect from you? Communicates Effectively in English Readiness for physical activity Reliable Able to start quickly Friendly and courteous personality Knowledge of how to get around NYC quickly Must have a smartphone to work (mandatory) Please note, this position will start out as a 1099 position with the possibility of going to W2.
