Description
Hi. I’m a singer/guitarist, mid 30s, looking to create a piano/synth trio.
This will be an evolving and unusual concept, and there are multiple ways it can go.
There are two basic categories of player I’m seeking. I’m calling them rhythm and lead. If you represent both types that’s great, but you will have to complement the other player.
1.) Lead Synth and FX focused. Should have a good pallet of sounds to work with and some interesting gear. Has good instincts for dialing in emotions, as well as layering in a way that is complex but no more than is necessary. I can work with you on this but there should be some instincts in place for doing this tastefully.
2.) Rhythm Chords and lead focused. Primary pianist with some jazz and classical training who is not a purist in any style, and wants to apply merge simplicity with sophistication. Not required to be an effects wizard but know your way around the basic piano sounds, to the extent you can compliment what #1 is doing.
Pluses: Appreciation of 70s music, as well as 80s/90s chiptune sounds.
Once a week practice to start, with ability to put in an additional if there is a gig coming up.
Tell me a little about your background. Even if you’re not sure this project is not the one (or bad timing), there are others in the wings
Email me some of your work and anything else you like. Thank you.
