Back to school isn't just for the kiddos! We've had all summer to be with them now it's time to tighten up parenting them. I'm sure you've all seen plenty of parenting workshops that want to talk about development and learning what your kids are thinking... but does that really help you when your kid is screaming on the floor and throwing a huge melt down. This course is for those parents. The ones that are frustrated with their kids behaviors and want to learn real skills in helping them to make consistent changes. You'll learn about what makes you blow your fuse, how to avoid the melt downs, and how to best redirect their behaviors for the outcomes that you want. Yes... Yes... you'll learn how to listen to your children's behaviors and what they are communicating, because being heard at any age is important. We want to empower you parents to feel more level to be able to be present and enjoy your kids. About the Presenter: Holly Cummings is a registered Mental Health Counseling Intern and School Counselor in Hillsborough County. She has over 8 years experience in the school system and community mental health agencies. She has refined her skills in the school system and spent much of her time coaching parents on how to make constructive changes to improve the health of the home. In this workshop you'll get: 6 weeks of guided support, scenarios to practice and prepare, an interactive workbook to help you track your progress and remember your skills, 1:1 coaching support, and access to trained professionals for follow up care. .
