Ballard Comedy Club proudly presents the best up and coming and seasoned veterans in the northwest! The Ballard Comedy club is open and we are here to prioritize booking, developing and furthering extremely talented Women, POC, and LGBTQA comedians. We believe representation in media and the arts are important and are doing our part to make the comedy landscape less of a cis gendered straight white guys world. Proof of vaccination is required for entry. We will also be doing temperature checks before you head up into the space. Anyone who doesn't have proof will be turned away and no refund will be given (as you will have taken space from someone who can watch the performance). Please get vaccinated then come back and have fun with us! Please before you order tickets know that this venue is upstairs and the building is the longest owned independent brewery in Washington and was built without the ability to put in elevators so it is not wheelchair accessible. Anyone who shows up that is unable to go upstairs will be given a full refund but this is a regretful warning. If you would like to perform please submit your availability to the [email protected] along with your pronouns, whether or not you are a Woman, POC or a part of the LGBTQA community and what dates you are available to perform. Submissions will be accepted the 3rd week on the month before (so to submit for Sept you'd send in August 15th-22nd) and responses on who is on will be back to you sometime the next week with the lineups you'll be included in. There will be 20 comics doing 5 minutes each with a coach in the room if comics feel they'd like their sets coached up. The goal is to continue the progress of newer comics and veterans alike to help succeed in the world of comedy at a professional level.
