Evening sunset pool party fundraiser for DC Black Pride Join the Center for Black Equity and VIDA Fitness for our second evening sunset pool party of the season. Take a dip in the pool under the stars on the roof deck of VIDA U Street. DJs will be spinning while you enjoy cocktails, amazing views, and old friends, and perhaps some new ones. This event is s a fundraiser to support DC Black Pride activities. Doors open at 8 pm EDT. 21+ Only MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR ENTRANCE INTO THE BUILDING #12MonthsofBlackPride TICKETS ARE LIMITED (In the event of rain, all tickets will be moved to an alternate date.) The Center for Black Equity (CBE) is an institution committed to supporting leaders, institutions and programs for health, economic and social equity for LGBT people of African descent. The CBE presents DC Black Pride (DCBP) annually during Memorial Day Weekend in our nation's capital — Washington, D.C. DCBP has been held since 1991. Year after year, more than 50,000 men and women from all over the world attend DCBP and experience the great culture and history of the Washington, D.C. area. Attendees have come to expect only quality social and non-social events. DCBP is the inspiration for numerous annual Black LGBT pride events in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Brazil, Africa and the Caribbean since its founding.
