Springhouse Sundries - The Wines of Jake Busching Harvest is fast approaching and we are lucky to host one more local winemaker before they all disappear into the cellar to produce delicious Virginia wine! Join us Thursday, August 19th from 5-7 pm as we welcome our good friend and cult winemaker Jake Busching to Springhouse! With over 20 years experience in the Monticello AVA, Jake has a passion for terroir-driven Virginia Wine. Jake has been Vineyard Manager at Keswick Vineyards and Jefferson Vineyards, Winemaker at Pollak Vineyards, Grace Estate Winery, and Michael Shaps Wineworks. Currently, he is the Winemaker at Hark Vineyards, and also produces his own small batch artisanal wines under the Jake Busching Wines label. We will be tasting: Hark Vineyards Verde 2020 Jake Busching Wines Blend 2019 Jake Busching Wines Rosé 2020 Hark Vineyards Cabernet Franc 2019 Hark Vineyards Spark 2017 All wines will be available for preorder at the tasting, along with case discounts. Wines can be picked up at Springhouse Sundries the following week. WHEN: Thursday, August 19th - We’re tasting between 5:00-7:00 pm - Come anytime!
