Knight Construction & Supply, Inc is a family-owned general contractor who has performed heavy construction projects throughout the Pacific Northwest since 1968. We have a manufacturing and fabrication facility with onsite millwright maintenance crews that can be mobilized on short notice. SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE: The Laborer role is a labor-intensive position involving strenuous physical exertion performing manual labor in a heavy construction setting. Candidate must be available to start on or before August 30, 2021. SPECIFIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: • Willing to travel and work at remote sites up to 75% of the time • Minimum of 40 hours per week; occasional weekend work • Operate forklifts, skid loaders and other equipment • Operate a variety of hand and power tools • Load and unload construction supplies from trucks, both manually and with the use of equipment • Proper handling and storage of all materials, picking up and removing all tools and equipment when not in use • Maintain clean work site by removing and properly disposing of debris and waste materials • Follow all safety procedures; report violations immediately to management • Provide assistance to craft laborers as needed • Other duties as assigned REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to lift 80-100 lbs • Ability to perform strenuous physical labor under a variety of conditions • Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time • Good manual dexterity • Knowledge and ability to maintain all safety requirements • Demonstrate a professional demeanor • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Valid driver's license with good driving record • Carpenter/concrete/scaffolding erection experience is a bonus
