Join us for our first ever herbal skincare class. Learn how to make bath and body products from organic and accessible materials. Join us for our Sip and Design Skincare and Wine event with Mellenie Runion of Truly-Life based in Alexandria. Participants will make a bath fizz with organic herbs and food grade ingredients, a solid lotion bar with natural unbleached bees wax, pure olive oil, vitamin E oil, and organic rose petals. Both items will be packaged in a biodegradable fabric sachet with flower and herb confetti. The hour class will include great tips for working with dried herbs and flowers. Each participate will leave with a perfectly packaged gift for yourself or someone else. Sip and Design is perfect for a night out with your friends, or come alone and make some new ones! We're all here to have a good time and get creative! About Mellenie: Just five miles south of the White House the tiny company Truly-Life is the ultimate urban garden. Owner Mellenie and partner Andy grow loofahs, herbs, and flowers which are used in their eco-friendly skin care products. Farming is hard work – even in the city. Mellenie started making soap in her kitchen as a way to live more GREEN. The handmade soaps became party favors for her dog Max’s birthday. The handmade soaps were a big hit and a business was born. Mellenie and Andy continue to create the ever-growing line of skin care products. In 2016, when they ran out of space in their small urban garden a few neighbors allowed Truly-Life to install lavender in their backyards. That is truly-life! FAQs   Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? All ages are welcome but must be 21 or older to consume alcohol.    What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? We will be in the heart of Falls Church and have a roomy parking lot behind the store. We are closest to East Falls Church Metro.    How can I contact the organizer with any questions? We are able to reschedule your ticket.    Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No you do not.   Is my registration fee or ticket transferable? Yes it is. You may purchase this as a gift for friend.    Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? Yes.
