The jazz orchestra is an original American art form that combines the sheer joy and freedom of jazz rhythms with a rich & powerful orchestra A big band formed in 1992 by alumni of Cincinnati's Roger Bacon High School band. The band performs jazz-influenced popular music—big band classics as well as contemporary tunes. The Sound Body Jazz Orchestra follows in the tradition of the famous jazz orchestras, from Count Basie to Buddy Rich, playing an eclectic mix of styles--from classic swing to hard-driving latin to lush ballads. What makes this band unique is the addition of contemporary jazz and fusion/rock tunes from the 1970's to today. The common thread of this diverse repertoire: it's all great dance music! BIRCUS, where the surreal world of circus meets the simple love of beer, will deliver a jaw-dropping, thirst-defying brewery experience.
