Looking For: Female Singer For Acoustic Duo

Hi, thanks for checking out my post. My name is Geordie and I play guitar. I'm looking for a female singer for an acoustic duo. My musical interests are broad (rock, country, folk, blues, indie - basically anything and everything). I like to work on all kinds of songs, but particularly ones that feature great songwriting and translate well to an acoustic format. I'd LOVE to do some writing, too, if you're a songwriter. The goal is to have a good time playing great music with the idea of doing some open mics or whatever in the future if there's interest. I have a large binder full of music and lyrics to tons of great songs and recording gear so we can definitely record. I love music and I've worked with numerous singers in the past. I'll put a YouTube link to a recording with my last singer, Caroline, at the end of this post. I met Caroline from a craigslist post just like this and we had a great time, recorded many songs, played open mics and even got to play Jaxtoberfest (the picture in the video). What am I looking for in a singer? You don't have to be great or experienced. It would be nice if you can hold a tune, though. If you're a beginner, that's cool - I can probably help you and teach you some awesome songs. Really, just a love for music and singing, some ability and being a nice, friendly person. It would be great if you had a recording of yourself to share with me so I can get an idea of your style and interest. I know it can be intimidating to reply to an ad and put yourself out there, but if you're reading this, then you probably want to play music - so, let's play music! I am very easy-going, friendly and respectful. I'm good at working with singers and arrangements for songs. Like I said, I totally get it that it can be intimidating or scary to meet someone you don't know and play music, but, life is short - go for it. I can almost guarantee you that you will be happy you did. Your comfort and happiness will be my primary consideration. I'm just looking to play music, nothing else.
