First Annual Longtab Belgian Beer & Food 4-Course Event
Longtab is proud to announce its FIRST EVER beer and food pairing event! On the 26th of August, we will be offering a unique 4-course meal focusing on Belgian Beers and Food! This event will feature exclusive plates prepared by Longtab Chef Joseph Moreno and 4 full pours of authentic Belgain brews by Retired Green Beret and Longtab Head Brewer Mike Brown. We will run two sessions.
The first session will be from 6PM to 7:30 PM
The second session will be from 8:00PM to 10PM
First Course
Frisée salad with beet, egg and bacon
Frisée tossed with saison-shallot vinaigrette, pickled golden and purple beets, poached egg wrapped with house made bacon.
Beer: Augustus - Belgian Saison
Second Course
Smoked Meatball with sourdough, gravy and endive
Pork and veal meatball with OG gravy, endive puree, pickled endive, and toasted sourdough.
Beer: OG – Belgian Golden Strong
Third Course
Beef Short Rib with gribiche, carrot and potato
Carbonnade-style braised beef rib, brown butter breadcrumb gribiche, sous vide carrots with turbinado and tallow confit fingerling potatoes.
Beer: V42 - Belgian Dubbel
Fourth Course
Sweet Potato Waffle with pear, vanilla cream and affogato
Sweet & Savory waffle with maple and brown ale poached pear, served with vanilla ice cream and espresso.
Beer: Stiletto – Belgian Brown Ale
