Produced by Tom Tapley (Blackberry Smoke, Sugarland, Mastodon) “V” audibly illustrates the band’s unconventional yet contagious brand of Southern rock and highlights the best of The Vegabonds’ unique musicianship, vocals, lyrics and sound. V crosses boundaries of multiple music genres. These vibrant songs travel from sad to soulful; gritty to glorious. It’s a timeless American album in the sense it deals with eerie matters working people endure and captures their salvation in a song. Songs like “Partyin’ with Strangers”, the new single “I Ain’t Having It” and “When The Smoke Clears Up” proves the group’s ability to move people with a story, beat and melody. Vocalist Daniel Allen recently revealed, “I hope fans hear stories in the album. We are in a very unique time in history, and this album touches on the struggle of every day folks doing their best to navigate love, work, beliefs and the ever-changing politics that flood our lives daily.” Late Night Special Late Night Special is an orchestrated modern soulful rock band fronted by electric singer-songwriter Fred Lee IV. The band was started in 2012 after recording their first studio album “Light of The Moon”, which paved the road for many touring opportunities and the anticipation of their second Studio Album expected to be released in late 2018. The band is influenced by a variety of artists and genres. Their music can hardly be tamed to one style. Influences and comparisons include many timeless artists such as Tom Petty, The Band, Eric Clapton, Bill Withers, Pink Floyd as well as many new and up and coming artist like The Revivalist, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Kings of Leon, Imagine Dragons, Foster the People. Fred and the band are turning heads all along the East Coast! You can tell by their stage chemistry and Fred’s powerful, charismatic voice that this band is on the rise. The New Creatures Based out of McAdenville, NC, The New Creatures are a five-piece rock machine with a fresh yet familiar sound, bringing together elements of surf rock, classic rock, and garage rock. Stay spicy Falllift Iconic Charlotte Based Duo! Steven Hall and Micah Cottingham Sweet Sweet South Carolina based indie folk/Americana duo Jeremy Dunham and Kerrine Gifford doubled down and dubbed themselves “Sweet Sweet” to describe the fresh and inviting way they blend the elegance and mood of her cello with the rustic roots of his acoustic guitar. Those sounds, combined with foot driven percussion textures that range from gentle to raucous, are the foundation behind the singer-songwriters’ gorgeous lead and harmony vocals - and simple yet emotionally hard hitting songs filled with heartfelt tales and whimsical Southern Charm.
