Become a better cook with the knowledge of seasoning and spices! Chef Craig will take you to the world of seasoning spices and herbs, helping you make sense of this vast subject. You will learn how and when to use herbs, what herbs are good to grow locally, and what herbs you can forage for. We will go through the five taste and why they are important (sweet, salty, bitter, hot, and umami) During the class we will be making spice blend, herb blend and marinade and using these blends we will create several small dishes for your tasting pleasure. Cost for this class is $60/person If you are signing up with more than 5 in your party please give us a call as we may be able to tailor more to your individual needs. No refunds or credits will be given if cancelled within 72 hours of event Please notify us if you have any allergies. Adjustments can not be made during class. Know we will be taking all precautions regarding COVID-19 during the classes. Kitchen is completely sanitized before each class. Hand washing stations are located throughout the kitchen. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to give us a call at 864-250-0091 What to Expect: During this class you will learn the basics of using flavorings and spices as you create several small dishes with the Chef. Two glasses of wine will be served along with tea, lemonade, and water. Please be prepared with ID at check-in if you wish to have wine during your class.
