Are you really rehoming your pet cause of life change? moving? whatever the case... and you're charging? Ya should be paying someone to take over YOUR responsibility not keeping an unwanted pet because you're waiting for a pay out! I pity the pets waiting to be sold. Go to the pound or a rescue.
