Water Efficiency Temporary Field Staff Marin Water has an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team on the forefront of drought response. Water Efficiency Temporary Field Staff The temporary position will play a key role implementing our “Cash for Grass” and “Mulch Madness” programs which incentivize the removal of turf grass. The work involves interacting with customers to explain program rules and requirements, making landscape area measurements, preparing paperwork, and entering information into a database. The position will also assist with other water efficiency projects, as needed, including but not limited to contacting customers by phone, email and in-person, distributing supplies, staffing informational booths at community events, and performing field inspections to verify product installations. Desired qualifications: The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience working with the general public. This position is best suited towards a self-starter who enjoys working both as a member of a team and also independently. Excellent driving and navigation skills are required. Some knowledge of water efficiency, including irrigation systems and practices, is desirable but not required. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. required. • Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid class C California driver’s license (prior to assignment start date). A satisfactory driving record is also required. • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Work schedule: This temporary position can accommodate a part-time or full-time work schedule. Monday through Friday. Hours To Be Determined (TBD). A minimum of 20 hours per week is required. Eight hour work days preferred, but not required.
