The City of Carbondale will host an educational Solar Power Hour Live. In one hour receive answers to the ins and outs of going solar! SolarizeSI’s mission as an educational not-for-profit is to assist southern Illinois home and small business owners in becoming more sustainable and economically efficient. We do this by streamlining the entire Solarize process: from education, through purchase, to financing and incentives. This process continues throughout the build of your new solar array and with top customer service, both during and after. The 2021 SolarizeSI Group Buy program allows for solar customers to capture economies of scale and go solar well below retail prices. Home and small business owners located in Franklin, Jackson, Johnson, Perry, Union, and Williamson are eligible for the new program. A series of educational events called Solar Power Hours are scheduled throughout the summer. In these Hours, interested parties will be guided through the ins and outs of going solar. Each are tailored to where you live. Please note: Covid-19 safety protocols have been developed for the entirety of the Solarize Southern Illinois program, including on-line Solar Power Hours until further notice.
