Description

A lunchtime discussion about important and strategic giving tactics, and exploring simple ways to protect your charitable legacy. Are you living your legacy? How will your charitable plans be managed after your lifetime? Will you leave a legacy for the future guided by your principles? Or will someone else make all of the decisions about your assets after you are gone? Please join the Goldwater Institute and Randy Huston from Yellowstone Trust Administration for an exclusive luncheon on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, where we will discuss important and strategic giving tactics. Learn how you can take a portfolio approach to your giving to support liberty and other causes you care about. We will also explore simple ways to protect your charitable legacy. The 2017 tax reform package took away many deductions, but one still holds strong: the charitable deduction. During this lunch, Randy Huston will explore strategic giving tactics to maximize your philanthropic impact while minimizing your tax burden. Please join us for lunch at the Phoenix Country Club on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, if you would like to explore answers to these questions. Registration opens at 11:30 a.m. and the presentation and lunch will begin at 12 p.m. There is no cost to attend, but your RSVP is required. If you are interested in attending or have any questions, please contact Shannon Stovall at [email protected] for more information, or call 602-633-8984. Randy Huston from Yellowstone Trust Administration is a Certified Financial Planner who will discuss estate planning tools and tax law changes you should know in order to ensure your charitable legacy. There will be plenty of time for your questions. Meet the presenters: Randy Huston, Executive Vice President for Yellowstone Trust Administration. Barry Goldwater Legacy Society. Please check out our planned giving website to learn more. For more information, please call Austin Jack at 602-633-8988 or email [email protected]. This informative luncheon is all about you, your life, and Living Your Legacy. Join us! *You should consult your own tax, accounting, and legal advisors before entering into any financial transaction.* The Goldwater Institute is a leading free-market public policy research and litigation organization that is dedicated to empowering all Americans to live freer, happier lives. We accomplish real results for liberty by working in state courts, legislatures, and communities nationwide to advance, defend, and strengthen the freedom guaranteed by the constitutions of the United States and the fifty states. Founded in 1988 in Phoenix with Senator Barry Goldwater’s blessing, the Institute focuses on advancing the principles of limited government, economic freedom, and individual liberty, with a focus on education, free speech, healthcare, equal protection, property rights, occupational licensing, and constitutional limits. The U.S. Constitution provides a basic minimum of protection for individual rights, while leaving states free to enact laws that protect those rights more broadly. That’s why we direct our efforts at the states, the “laboratories of democracy,” to introduce innovative ideas that expand freedom. And that’s why we litigate in state courts to defend individual liberty.
