Exam Preparation Training for General Standards/Core (and CEUs) General Standards/Core Exam Prep Training (and CEUs) Registration is a two-step process if you want to 1) take the exam preparation class and 2) sign up to take the General Standards/Core pesticide exams. Exam Prep Workshop 9:00am - 11:30am CEUs available for attendance from 9:00am - 11:30am Review of General Standards/Core Applicator Topics Including: The Law and Pesticide ApplicationPrinciples of Pesticides and Pest ControlUnderstanding Pesticide LabelingPesticide FormulationsPesticides and the EnvironmentHarmful Effects and Emergency ResponsePersonal Protective EquipmentTransportation, Storage and Security, and Disposal of Pesticide WastesPesticide Application ProceduresSTEP 1: Complete the EventBrite registration on this page for the workshop to prepare you for taking the pesticide exam. The cost is $30 registration fee for the pesticide exam preparation workshop. CEUs: (Max 2) 2 Core CEUs for each Chapter 482 and Chapter 487Registration -  Registration and/or payment on the day of the event will be charged an additional $10.00 late processing fee. STEP 2:  (If you will be taking the exam at a later date, you must obtain an exam voucher at  https://pesticideexam.ifas.ufl.edu/ Click on "apply for exam". This will take you to the Fresh from Florida website where you will complete your information.  No Fee to obtain the voucher. You cannot take the exam without the voucher! Cancellations - If your class is canceled for any reason you will be notified no less than 12 hours prior to class start time. We will provide a full refund for cancellations made prior to 7 days of the class. Refunds may take up to 30 days to process. Refunds - Refunds will be made in the event of a class cancellation or if the registrant requests a refund 7 days prior to the class time.
