Susabella (), a personalized gift business is looking for someone to help glaze our ceramic items, load and unload kilns, ship and package items, and other miscellaneous tasks. This person is dependable, enjoys working with their hands at a fast pace with high attention to detail, and works well with others. Must be able to shift gears quickly in a fast past environment. No past ceramic experience is necessary. Schedule: This position will start as soon as possible at approx. 15 hrs a week and will increase to 20-30 hours during our busy holiday season. The starting pay is $15.25 per hour to start or based upon experience. We typically give raises based on performance after the first three months. The business is located in Woodinville, near the wineries. We are looking for someone who is very dependable, DETAIL oriented, and organized. A flexible schedule would be ideal and we typically work from 9:00 am-3 pm during the weekday. Some days you may need to come in a little earlier or work a bit later, which we will let you know ahead of time. We will add additional hours as we get into our busier holiday season. Responsibilities Include: • Glazing ceramic items • Loading and unloading our kilns • Getting orders ready to ship • Packaging, shipping items, and other small tasks Preferred Qualifications and Skills: • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics • High attention to detail with quick hands and fine motor skills. • Past experience with line production or mass production • Similar to a back of house restaurant environment Physical Requirements & Environment: • Candidates must thrive in an active clay studio where there is minor dust, temperature fluctuations, etc. • Candidates must be able to lift/carry 25-50lbs regularly and stand/move for the entirety of each shift.
