EnviroVac is a place you can call home, where there is a career here waiting for you, and where you can truly start on the ground floor and be running a large piece of EnviroVac business in a matter of a few years – if you are bold enough, that is! *JOB SCOPE / PURPOSE:* *EnviroVac *Hydroblast Vacuum Technician is to safely operate extremely high pressured water-blast units to clean customer systems (pipes, boilers, tanks, etc.) and operate industrial vacuum units. *DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* The successful candidate for the career-entry position Hydro Blaster/Vacuum Technician will perform a wide range of physically strenuous activities that require the operation of industrial equipment, mechanized devices, or operation of vehicles. * Technicians must have the ability to operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment. * Properly prepares equipment and worksite on a daily basis. * Ensures that assigned tasks are performed safely with the highest level of quality. * Effectively communicate with team. *WORK ENVIRONMENT Hydroblast Vacuum Technicians:* * Tools, equipment, machinery used: Large industrial cleaning equipment and materials, large industrial vehicles. * Working conditions: Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.in outside climates, extreme temperatures, noisy conditions, Work 8-12-hour shifts, flexible schedules, on-call hours, 24/7 availability. * Proper safety precautions, work for periods within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments, and at high elevation. * Physical effort required: Heavy lifting, working with large machinery, confined spaces, and heights. * Hydroblast technicians must lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Travel required: overnight to and perform work at client sites. * Commit to safety and follow safe work practices at all times. *QUALIFICATIONS for Hydroblast Vacuum Technicians: * * Able to read and write-no high school diploma required. * Able to pass drug tests (pre-employment, random, and annual). * Valid driver’s license preferred but not required. * Able to physically control industrial hydro blasting and vacuum equipment. * Able to carry industrial hoses (up to 60 lbs.) up and down multiple flights of stairs. * Must be able and not afraid to enter confined spaces through a man hole. * Must not be afraid of heights. * Must be safety conscious and have good work ethics. * Basic mechanical skills preferred. * Ability to respond for assignments within 1 hour. * Must have telephone access and able to be reached at all times. * Must complete all pre and post training including safety, new hire, and regulatory *EnviroVac Offers Full Employee Benefits:* * Medical, dental, vision, life and accidental death insurance, short-term and long-term disability * Income Protection * Vacation * 401k with generous match * Career advancement opportunities * Travel per diem and travel pay Job Type: Full-time Salary: $12 - $14/hr
