Description

WAUKESHA, WI— The Waukesha County Emergency Management wants public input on disaster preparedness and potential emergencies. A public information session is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 24 at 1621 Woodburn Road, according to a news release. To register for the meeting residents can go online and fill out the form. The sessions are part of the multi-jurisdictional-hazard mitigation plan, which is undergoing a mandatory five-year update. County residents and businesses can help the county update its emergency preparedness plans by participating in a voluntary online questionnaire. Feedback from the confidential 10-minute survey will enable Waukesha County Emergency Management to better serve residents and businesses before, during, and after an emergency or disaster, the release said. The survey will remain open until September 30. For a hard copy version of the survey, contact the Emergency Management Coordinator at [email protected] or call 262-446-5077.
