Waukesha County Wants Input On Disaster, Emergency Preparedness

WAUKESHA, WI— The Waukesha County Emergency Management wants public input on disaster preparedness and potential emergencies. A public information session is scheduled from 6-7 p.m. Aug. 24 at 1621 Woodburn Road, according to a news release. To register for the meeting residents can go online and fill out the form. The sessions are part of the multi-jurisdictional-hazard mitigation plan, which is undergoing a mandatory five-year update. County residents and businesses can help the county update its emergency preparedness plans by participating in a voluntary online questionnaire. Feedback from the confidential 10-minute survey will enable Waukesha County Emergency Management to better serve residents and businesses before, during, and after an emergency or disaster, the release said.
