MIAMI BEACH, FL — The Florida Department of Health issued a swimming advisory for two areas in Miami Beach on Wednesday. The advisory is for the waters adjacent to 73rd Street and 53rd Street. The FDOH did not specify why exactly there is a swimming advisory, but said sampling "indicates that water contact may pose an increased risk of illness, particularly for susceptible individuals."
