BROOKFIELD, WI — Brookfield residents are still reporting power outages Thursday after severe storms and winds Tuesday. Brookfield and its surrounding communities have around 4,365 residents still without power, a We Energies power outage map reported. The day will be mostly sunny and hot with highs near the 90s, the National Weather Service reported. Some places in and around Brookfield, like swimming pools and libraries, have ways for customers to cool off and charge their devices. Here's a list of places to go to cool off: Brookfield Public Library, 1900 N Calhoun Road. Open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.Wiberg Aquatic Center, 2585 North Pilgrim Road. Open 1-4:30 p.m.Eble Park Ice Arena, 19400 W. Bluemound Road. Open skate from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m.Naga-Waukee Park Ice Arena, 2699 Golf Road, Delafield. Open skate 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.Southside Church of Christ, 1933 W. Grange Ave., Milwaukee Open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.Waukesha Schuetze Recreation Center, 1120 Baxter St., Waukesha. Open 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
