Press release from the City of Gig Harbor: August 11, 2021 38th Avenue project update: Road Closure 38th Avenue project update: The work during the next three weeks beginning August 16 will consist of placing re-enforcing steel for the new walls, placing forms for the new walls, pouring concrete for the new walls, relocating a short segment of the sewer pipe, and placing drainage structures.  Some of this work will require temporary closure of the northbound lane.  Temporary traffic control devices and flaggers will be on site to assist motorists on the days that the northbound lane will be temporarily closed.v This press release was produced by the City of Gig Harbor.
