Press release from the Falmouth Chamber of Commerce: 8/10/2021 Each summer, the office of Gary DellaPosta, CPA awards a college scholarship to a deserving student from Upper Cape Cod who is majoring in a business related program. Now in our 6th year of scholarships it has become apparent how truly talented and dedicated many of our local students are. As a result we decided to increase the scholarship amount this year to $2,000. We are pleased to announce Emily Hunt from Sandwich as the winner of the 2021 Gary DellaPosta, CPA Business Scholarship. Emily is majoring in Business Management with a Concentration in Corporate Finance and Investment Management at Merrimack College. Emily is an honors students and athlete as a member of the Golf Team. She also volunteers are time in programs with at risk youth and Mack Gives Back, a community-wide series of service events commemorating Veterans Day and St. Augustine's birthday. Emily is described by her teachers as having strong leadership skills and an asset to her community.
