Take Part in The Little Black Dress IMPACT Campaign and Spark Up A Conversation about Trauma & Poverty in the Rome & Floyd County Community. The Little Black Dress IMPACT is a week-long awareness campaign to shine a light on the existence of trauma nd poverty within the Rome & Floyd County Community. During the week of August , - September , , participants will wear one black dress (or outfit) for 5 consecutive days WITHOUT washing it, illustrating the IMPACT of limited access to resources and opportunities. All registered participants will be delivered a button to wear with a trauma and poverty stat cheat sheet that will spark conversation on the topic. . On Wednesday, September 1, from 7 :00 PM - 9:00 PM, all participants are invited to take part in a conversation on Poverty and Trauma at Olea Oils & Wine, Broad Street, Rome, GA 30161. Price of Admission: 1 New Article of Clothing/Jewelry, which will be donated to the Open Door Children's Home.
