Press release from the City of Brockton: 2021-08-10 The Brockton Emergency Management Agency in conjunction with Mayor Sullivan's Office and the Brockton Housing Authority will open the city cooling center on Wed- August 11, Thurs- August 12 and Fri- August 13, 2021. At: Manning Towers- 45 Goddard Road, Community Room Hours: 11 AM to 5 PM Seating capacity is approximately 40 people. MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Food will not be provided; There will be no overnight accommodations provided. The cooling center will close at 5 PM.
