Help us get our soil and crops in good growing shape. Gardening or farming experience appreciated but not necessary! Conscious Connections Inc. is an urban farm offering fresh produce and agricultural, conservation, and nutrition education for youth in Wilmington, DE in an area recognized as a food desert. We are a relatively young organization looking to grow our offerings of service to the community. Because we have only six official employees currently, we are in need of volunteers to help us maintain the land on our farm and encourage growth. Anyone who could lend some time and resources is a champion to us! Come in on any Thursday to help us with weeding, pruning, planting, and harvesting. Conscious Connections Inc. is a nonprofit that provides educational programming and operates an urban farm located in Wilmington, Delaware. We are passionate about serving our community with increased opportunities for learning and access to fresh food. Through our community outreach efforts, a safe place for youth has been created where we nurture creativity, ingenuity, and self empowerment.
