Do you love animals? Then this might be the right position for you! Seeking a kennel assistant to join our dedicated team, providing high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats. Duties include: • Clean kennels, carriers, traps, etc. when soiled throughout the day • General Customer Service- help with check-ins and check-out • Recover Dogs- sit with dogs after surgery, extubate • Clean surgical linens and instruments • Laundry • Surgical Pack Wrapping- use of autoclave, ultrasonic cleaner • End of day cleaning/sanitizing -sweeping, mopping, surfaces • Assist with restraining animals as needed • Caring for clinic cats- cleaning litter boxes, feeding, medicating, etc • Administering Vaccines • Ability to lift 50lbs • Cleaning of urine, feces, blood, etc. as needed Must be a team player with good time management skills and the ability to adapt to fast paced environments as well as stressful situations. We are looking for an organized person with a positive attitude who wants to work closely with animals, takes initiative when needed, and is willing to learn new skills related to the veterinary field.
