Press release from the Albany County Government: 08/12/2021 3:41 pm Albany County Executive Daniel P. McCoy is joining with ShopRite to distribute free reusable grocery bags. He will be at the ShopRite at 709 Central Avenue, Albany, NY 12206 on Friday, August 13 at 10:30am to talk about the partnership and to hand out bags while supplies last. County Executive McCoy held a county-wide reusable bag art contest earlier this year to encourage the public to reduce our reliance on disposable paper bags and protect the environment. The artwork was designed by a third grader in the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk School District. This press release was produced by the Albany County Government.
