Press release from City of Dallas: The Department of Housing and Neighborhood Revitalization is accepting applications for the annual Home Improvement and Preservation Program (HIPP). Applications will be available at the following locations from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Aug. 6 to Sept. 11. The program will only be accepting paper applications this year. For your convenience, applications can now be downloaded at dallascityhall.com/hipp. Completed applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11 at any of the locations listed above. Applicants may have a representative drop off their application on their behalf. Applications will be received on a first-come, first-serve basis. The program will not accept early or incomplete applications. City staff will be hosting virtual and in-person educational workshops that will help applicants understand recently made changes to the program.
