Students head back after Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 6) and Rosh Hashanah (Tuesday, Sept. 7). Here is when Prince George's County Public Schools students will return. Student Orientation/Mock Virtual Class Day Friday, Sept. 3 First Day Wednesday, Sept. 8 Here are all the off days in the 2021 to 2022 PGCPS calendar: Yom Kippur Thursday, Sept. 16 Professional Development Day Friday, Oct. 1Only students are off. Teachers work this day. Native American Day And Parent-Teacher Conferences Monday, Oct. 11Only students are off. Teachers work this day. Professional Development Day Friday, Oct. 15Only students are off. Teachers work this day. Thanksgiving Break Wednesday, Nov. 24 through Sunday, Nov. 28 Winter Break Friday, Dec. 24 through Sunday, Jan. 2 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Monday, Jan. 17 Presidents' Day Monday, Feb. 21 Professional Development Day Monday, March 7 Only students are off.
