AUSTIN, TX — Hily, a popular dating app, has partnered with Austin Pets Alive! to create 15 profiles for homeless cats and dogs looking for their forever home. The campaign called "It's a petch!" started Aug. 2 and will continue through the end of this month. Each pet profile features cute photos and a short introduction of each pet. The partnership is designed to help the local animal shelter, which is struggling with overcapacity, officials said. The profiles will appear on the app as regular dating profiles in Austin with a special frame and feature a special badge with the name of the shelter that lets users know that this profile is a part of "It's a petch!" campaign.
