'Girls Rock' Yoga Classes Are Back At Washington Township Rec

LONG VALLEY, NJ — Girls ages 8 to 13 interested in taking a yoga class can once again enroll in "Girls Rock" through Washington Township Recreation. The classes will be held on Wednesdays from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. at Washington Township Senior Center (RSP), located at 35 East Springtown Road, Darlene Hatcher, recreation director at Washington Township Parks and Recreation, said in a statement. "'Girls Rock' Yoga classes are suitable for everyone, and will consist of a series of strengthening, relax breathing, meditation exercise, games, making connections with their peers, and a fun activity to be offered at each class," the parks department said on their website. Registration must be completed ahead of time, and parents can register their daughters on the Washington Township parks department website.
