HOBOKEN, NJ — While Hoboken doesn't have a community pool, local residents are often unaware that there's a free Olympic-sized pool just up the hill in Union City at Firemen's Memorial Park, with an adjacent kiddie splash area. It's open to all Hudson County residents. There are also a number of interesting spray parks and pools in Hoboken and neighboring towns. For example, the photos above were taken at Washington Park on the Jersey City Heights/Union City border on Wednesday, where an extensive spray area includes a number of unique water features (like a bucket that fills up and dumps a stream of water on any kid bold enough to stand and wait).
