Communication to staff and families From:  Dr. Woodson, Superintendent Updated COVID-19 Protocols for WT Schools Effective Mon., Aug. 16 COVID-19 protocols for WT Schools It is important for staff and families to understand the significant changes that have occurred since the original protocols for this school year were voted on by the Board three weeks ago leading to this update.   The following changes since the original Board vote on July 21, 2021 have led to decision making on the updated protocols: Starting Monday, August 16, 2021 ALL staff, students and visitors in ALL WT schools/facilities will be required to wear a mask indoors regardless of vaccination status . As stated, current Marion County data and health agency guidance are the parameters for School Board related to COVID-19 protocols.  The Board and administration will continue to monitor any updated guidance along with data in Marion County for future changes to protocols.   Any changes to the protocols would be made at public school board meetings. This remains a fluid situation we appreciate everyone's patience and understanding as the Board works to make decisions in the best interest of public health and safety for everyone in WT Schools.
