Hit And Run Victim Identified

By John Gibson, WNIN Aug. 12, 2021 Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal hit and run in Evansville. The Vanderburgh County Coroner identified the victim as 63-year-old John D. Knight. An autopsy indicated Knight died from multiple blunt force trauma. Police are still looking for a suspect in the crash that happened shortly after midnight Sunday in the 1000 block of North Fulton. The EPD said witnesses described seeing a light colored car driving south on Fulton that hit Knight, who was on foot. The driver continued south on Fulton.
