Qualifications High school or equivalent (Preferred) Full Job Description About us COVID DIAGNOSTICS PLLC has safely, quickly and effectively administered thousands of minimally-invasive COVID tests to area residents and travelers throughout 2021. This is a testing support specialist position at our COVID testing facility in the parking lot of Northbrook Ct., an upscale shopping mall. At the COVID testing site, we are based in an office adjacent to the parking lot with 5 reserved and numbered parking spaces near our office. International travel and overnight camps require negative COVID tests so summer is getting busy. Ideal candidates will be Medical Assistants and have COVID testing experience. Candidate will assist patients to self- administer the PCR and Rapid COVID tests we offer at the curbside COVID testing site. · Part-Time and Full-Time Shifts Available: 7 -8 hour shifts (Weekdays and also Saturdays and/or Sundays) Job Responsibilities/Duties -Performs basic clerical and office duties, including: · Performs Specimen Collection Techniques with proper Personal Protective Equipment and will instruct patients how to provide specimens. - Processes “rapid” testing of specimens onsite and communicates results to patients. - Provide follow-up customer assistance to patients inquiring about their test results. · Standing much of the day (with some sitting) with a combination inside an air conditioned office and outdoors picking up specimen testing kits from patients located in the parking lot just outside our office. · Effectively uses computer applications as needed in the office setting. · Assembles necessary documents and supplies. Performs business and financial duties including: . · Facilitates timely billing by completing the necessary documentation -Performs clinical functions within acceptable standards of care including: · Recognizes and appropriately responds to emergency situations. · Prepares and maintain examination and treatment areas. · Performs complete intake process as specified by clinic best practices. · Provides patient education as directed. -Actively participates in quality improvement initiatives Posting Specifics Starting: $18 - $19 commensurate with COVID testing experienceSigning Bonus (full-time/30 hours) $1000 total; 25% paid in first full two - week payroll period and 75% paid in second full two - week payroll periodSigning Bonus (part-time/under 30 hours) $500 total; 25% paid in first full two - week payroll period and 75% paid in second full two - week payroll periodPerformance evaluation with opportunity for pay increase in 30 days · Benefits Eligible: No In-person interview will be required prior to hiring.
