Naperville Man Burglarized Neighbor's House: Police

NAPERVILLE, IL— A Naperville man is in custody after police say he burglarized a neighbor's home Tuesday afternoon. Johnny Lee Robinson III, 29, of the 2900 block of Stonewater Drive, was charged with felony residential burglary in connection with the incident, which took place in the same block. Police were called to the above address around 4:30 p.m. for an in-progress burglary in which someone may have entered a home through a first-floor window that had been left unlocked. Officers entered the home and were unable to locate any suspects at the scene. After reviewing surveillance footage, police went to Robinson's home and took him into custody without incident. Police say they recovered "suspected proceeds" and other evidence from the burglary while at Robinson's home. Robinson was later transferred to Will County Jail.
